Where to stay on La Digue Island
One of the best things about La Digue is its size. It is only 5 km long (3 mi) and 3 km (1.8 mi) wide.
You can find a variety of places throughout the island that you can call ‘home’ while visiting. From dreamy resorts to luxurious hotels, guesthouses, and self-catering apartments.
Most of them are concentrated around the jetty, in the villages L’Union and La Passe. This is also the best area for where to stay if you wish to have a central location.
Many of the top things to do in La Digue are within walking distance, but renting a bike is the most popular mode of transportation. And you will reach main points of interest, like Anse Source d’Argent and Anse Cocos way faster.
Below I mention the best places to stay on La Digue Island. I’ve visited all of them and recommend them to my family and friends to stay there, based on their budget.
For private island stays, check out my other article on the best luxury hotels in Seychelles, as the top resort Six Senses Zil Pasyon, is not far from La Digue.
FRIENDLY REMINDER
You must have all of your Seychelles accommodation booked BEFORE coming to Seychelles. At immigration and when boarding a ferry, you will be asked where you’re staying. If you don’t have it booked, you will be asked to do it at the airport.
